Welcome to my personal website. I am a researcher and writer at New America, where I work across the Planetary Politics and Future Frontlines programs to explore the intersections of global governance, technology, and geopolitical instability.
My background is in anthropology, with a Master’s from the George Washington University and a concentration in museum training. My research interests span museum anthropology, climate change and just energy transitions, democratic resilience in the digital age, and Russian irregular activities worldwide. I approach these topics with a focus on systems in flux—how institutions adapt (or fail to) under the pressure of collapse, crisis, or transformation.
All views are exclusively my own.
“Although it is not possible to achieve perfect parity and equal power, by merely making these our goals, it becomes possible for power to become more fluid… Intentionality is not enough by itself; equally important is how one communicated about them and situated them into practice, but intentions provide the foundation to initiate moral behavior.” — Chip Cowell, “Virtue Ethics and the Practice of History: Native Americans and Archaeologists along the San Pedro Valley of Arizona,” (2004) 11.
